Scheduled Opening

Automate your repetitive tasks with Scheduled Opening, a powerful bulkU Pro feature. Set any group of URLs to open automatically on a daily or weekly schedule.

Pro feature: Scheduled Opening is exclusively available to bulkU Pro users.

Creating a Schedule

Set up a new schedule in just a few clicks.

Go to the "Schedules" Tab

Navigate to the "Schedules" tab within the bulkU extension.

Create a New Schedule

Click "Create New Schedule". This will open the schedule configuration panel.

Configure Your Schedule

Set the following options:

  • Group: Select the URL group you want to open.
  • Frequency: Choose "Daily" or "Weekly".
  • Day: If weekly, select the day of the week.
  • Time: Set the time you want the URLs to open.

Save the Schedule

Click "Save". Your schedule is now active and will run automatically.

Managing Your Schedules

You can view, edit, or delete your active schedules at any time from the "Schedules" tab.

  • Toggle On/Off: Use the toggle switch to temporarily disable a schedule without deleting it.
  • Edit: Click the edit icon to change the group, frequency, or time.
  • Delete: Click the trash icon to permanently remove a schedule.

Use Cases for Scheduled Opening

  • Daily News Check: Create a group with your favorite news sites and schedule it to open every morning at 8:00 AM.
  • Weekly Reporting: Schedule a group of analytics dashboards (Google Analytics, social media stats) to open every Monday morning.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Set a schedule to open the homepages and social media profiles of your main competitors every day.
  • Client Campaign Checks: For digital marketers, schedule a group of a client's live ad landing pages to open daily to ensure they are working correctly.
  • Personal Productivity: Create a "Focus Mode" group with your work-related apps (Jira, Slack, email) and schedule it to open at the start of your workday.

Browser must be running: For a schedule to execute, your browser must be open at the scheduled time. The extension does not run when the browser is closed.
